I made welsh cakes – I love them so so much and they are the easiest thing to make ever!! ?

Recipe:
8oz self raising flour
4oz butter
3oz raisins
1/2tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
Milk to mix

-combine flour, sugar, spices and baking powder then rub in the butter to form a breadcrumb texture.
-stir in raisins ( I split a 1/4 of the mix here and put some lemon zest into the separated mix for a twist)
-mix in egg to combine then gradually add milk until a soft dough forms (should be able to roll it)
– roll out over floured surface then cut out medium sized circles
– cook on a low heat using a griddle or non-stick pan until golden then flip!
