Today’s post is FRENCH TOAST with a heavenly homemade blueberry maple syrup on top! This is such a favourite of mine and I haven’t had it in ages!
French toast recipe:
3 tbsp oat milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 slices bread
Whisk together until the mix is bubbly and light!
Soak the bread in the mix (sometimes it helps to poke holes in bread with a fork if denser)
Cook on a low med heat until golden then flip until both sides are cooked
Add toppings and enjoy!
Blueberry maple syrup:
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
– heat up blueberries until they melt and go all liquidy (about 1.5mins in microwave or 3-4 mins over stove)
-Add maple syrup and cook until heated through
– pour over your dish and tuck in!
(I also added some fage_uk total yoghurt!)
